Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi have been invited to a polo tournament that will take place in Keffi, Nasarawa state, later in September.
Other presidential contenders vying for the Aso Rock seat in 2023 will attend a polo tournament hosted by Mr. Ahmed Wadada.

The event, according to the organizer, aims to promote understanding among the presidential candidates.
The National Unity Polo Tournament in Keffi-Nasarawa State has extended an invitation to Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Bola Tinubu less than a day after the Nigerian Bar Association conference’s opening ceremony.
Other political heavyweights, monarchs, and other significant players in the nation will be present at the event.
Mr. Ahmed Wadada, the event’s originator and promoter, said this on Tuesday, August 23, in Abuja.
The competition will last over four days and is scheduled for September 8 to 11.
According to the organizer’s statement, the event will provide a forum for communication among the presidential contenders who will be competing for the top spot in the next general elections in 2023.
He said:
“Already the political atmosphere in the country is charged ahead of the commencement of campaigns by all presidential candidates.
”It might hot up in the next couple of months, hence the need for the tournament in order to douse tension in the political space.”
Meanwhile, the event will allow Bola Ahmed Tinubu to redeem himself after receiving a lot of criticism for missing out on the NBA conference yesterday.
Senator Kashim Shettima, who is running with Tinubu, spoke at the gathering in his honor.
Speaking at the occasion, Shettima said that he and Tinubu, working together, would be able to duplicate Lagos’ achievements across the Federation.
However, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, who will serve as the day’s royal father, is among the prominent dignitaries who are anticipated to attend the polo competition in Keffi.
Other noteworthy attendees include Sen. Ahmed Lawal, President of the Senate, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, Presidential Candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Sen. Hamza Al-Mustapha, Retired Major.
