The Rwandan lady condemned to two years in prison for indecent dressing has attracted international notice.
Mugabekazi Lilliane, 24, was arrested and charged with public obscenity on August 9, 2022, after wearing a provocative outfit to a concert by prominent French artist Tayc in Kigali.

She was arrested and placed in jail as she awaited her destiny in court.
“She is suspected to have committed public indecency,” the spokesman for the prosecution, Faustin Nkusi, told AFP, following her arrest.
The detention aroused outcry, but Rwandan government leaders supported it, including former justice minister Johnston Busingye.
Lilliane was sentenced to two years in jail by a Rwandan court on Thursday, August 18.
