R. Kelly, the disgraced R&B singer who was found guilty of the sex charges for which he was tried, was given specific requirements to follow when he was released from prison.
Prosecutors claimed Kelly is particularly dangerous to society because he persisted in his criminal activity for years after being on trial in Chicago for sex crimes, according to TMZ.

After the revelation, the Judge ruled that Kelly had to tell anyone who wanted to move in with him that he was a sex offender.
The singer will need to receive mental health treatment after his release, according to the judge, Ann M. Donnelly. In accordance with court documents, he will undergo therapy for an undisclosed sexual illness and must refrain from all interaction with anyone under the age of 18.
Additionally, it was learned that he will only be permitted to interact with people under the age of 18 if they are family members or if they are doing it in a therapeutic setting with an “adult in charge.”

His probation officer would need to first give his consent for any of the aforementioned possibilities. Once Kelly is released, he will be under supervised release for a further five years.
The disgraced singer still needs to go through a federal trial and two state trials, and if he is found guilty a second time, he’ll probably be subject to even more restrictions.
