Antonio Dennard, a former professional NFL cornerback has been identified as a victim of a fatal Sunday morning shooting outside a Pennsylvania bar.
After being rushed to Reading Hospital for a gunshot wound, the 32-year-old Dennard was pronounced dead at 3:15 AM on October 16.
According to the Reading Eagle report, the bar is located in Muhlenberg Township, just outside of Reading, and police authenticated that the incident occurred in the parking lot of the neighboring Rodeway Inn
In accordance with TMZ Sports, the former NFL player’s death was ruled a homicide by the Berks County Coroner’s Office, and police are currently conducting an investigation.
Subsequent to his death, Dennard spent time in the NFL with the Giants of New York, Green Bay Packers, and Jacksonville Jaguars over the course of his career.
However, an autopsy is scheduled on Tuesday, the coroner’s office confirmed to the newspaper.
