Before fame and eye patch: A throwback video of Ruger freestyling Wizkid’s popular song “Soco” draws comments.

One of the Grammy-winning artist Wizkid’s big songs, “Soco,” was recently freestyled by fast-rising music prodigy Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, in an old video that just made its way online and, as a result, had internet users buzzing.

Ruger, formerly known as “Mickey Dray,” gave catchy words in the video that blended well with the music and were spiced up by his distinctive voice.

The performer wore a straightforward Afro hairstyle and no eye patch.
