Breaking: Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia wins Benue state governorship election

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia emerged as a winner of the March 18 governorship election in Benue state.

In accordance with the results unveiled by INEC, the Catholic priest secured 473,933 votes to defeat opponent, Titus Uba, the candidate of the Peoples Democracy Party (PDP), who polled 223,913 votes. Herman Hembe of the Labour Party (LP) scored 41,881 votes.
