Breaking: South African rapper Costa Titch slumped and died while performing on stage (Video)

The death of a South African rapper, Costa Titch, is one of the current news online as he passed away while performing on stage.

On Saturday, 12 March 2023, the 28 years old artiste, whose goes by the name Costa Tsobanoglou, allegedly slumped while performing at the Ultra music festival.

The deceased who was also a dancer, was birthed in Nelpruit, Mpumalanga in 1995 and is popular for several hits, including Nkalakatha and Activate.

On Twitter just before midnight, the news of Costa Titch’s death was verified by entertainment critic Phil Mphela, who was followed by a slew of somber replies from colleagues in the industry.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema and fellow musician Junior Da Rocka are among those to seemingly reference the rapper’s passing.

The demise of Costa Titch comes as a shock as music fans are still mourning the loss of fellow rapper AKA, whose goes by the name, Kiernan Forbes. Unidentified gunmen shot him outside a restaurant in Durban, and the South African Police Service (SAPS) are still investigating. Surprisingly, Costa Titch and AKA have both partnered on a song titled Super Soft.
