Biography

Raphael Kofi Attachie, also known as Camidoh, is a well-known Ghanaian afro-pop singer, rapper, composer, and music producer. He was born on January 21, 1994. He is a talented young musician from Ghana who has a unique sound.

He became well-known for creating the hit song For My Lover. He is also well-known for the song Sugarcane, which gained popularity across many social media platforms. Mayorkun, King Promise, and Darkoo were among the brilliant musicians that contributed to the Sugarcane remix.

He has previously collaborated with well-known musicians from Ghana, like Medikal and Darkovibes.

Early Life

Camidoh is the stage name of Ghanaian Afropop/R&B singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie.

The gifted musician was born on January 21st, 1994. He was raised by Christiana Dzifa Fudjoe, a single mother, in Ho, the Volta Region’s capital, after being born in Aflao, Ghana.

Camidoh departed the Nileem Preparatory School Complex in 2004 after attending there. He then enrolled at the Rijnbeek Catholic School Complex in 2005 and completed his junior high studies there in 2008.

He studied general arts at Bishop Herman College for his senior high schooling from 2008 to 2012, then from 2013 to 2017. He went to the University of Professional Studies to get a marketing bachelor’s degree.

Career

At the age of 12, just before starting junior high school, Camidoh developed a passion for music. He began to listen to and analyze Akon’s music after his Lonely tune had affected him.

In high school, he connected with another very bright student with whom he got along well, and the two decided to start a band they called Belce.

Before switching to 3fs Productions in April 2016 and ending the contract on December 24, 2017, when Belce decided to go solo, the group was contracted to Myco Music from December 2008 to April 2016, during which time they performed as a professional music duet.
GRIND DON’T STOP RECORDS is the label under which Camidoh is now signed. In addition, he has a distribution agreement with Crux Global and MOVES Recordings, which is home to Naira Marley, Rai-Elle, IQ, and Skengdo & AM.

He is well recognized for his Afropop/R&B sound, and since he is a sensitive person, he tends to go toward love tales while performing.

Personal Life

Camidoh has kept his personal life private, therefore it is unclear what his relationship status is. He has never been married, never had a wife or kid, and never shown a girlfriend.
