Cristiano Ronaldo is chosen to compete for his fifth World Cup as Portugal announces its team for Qatar

Cristiano Ronaldo was chosen in Portugal’s 26-man team for Qatar and will play in his fifth World Cup.

The team led by coach Fernando Santos includes 10 players from the Premier League, including the Manchester United striker. Club mates Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, along with Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, and Joao Cancelo of Manchester City, are among those who have been also invited.

Joao Moutinho, a captain of Portugal, and fellow international players Nelson Semedo and Goncalo Guedes were not included in the lineup.

Defenders: Joao Cancelo, Diogo Dalot, Pepe, Ruben Dias, Danilo Pereira, Antonio Silva, Nuno Mendes, Raphael Guerreiro.
