Desmond Elliot grovels & apologizes to Surulere residents while pleading for their votes.

In Surulere, the famous Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot, displayed utmost humily during his campaign exercise by groveling and apologizing to inhabitants in view of the forthcoming state House of Assembly election.

Wemimo Odumosu, the Surulere Local Govt. CDC Chairman was joined by the APC Lagos House of Assembly candidate from Surulere 1, to grovel in the Yoruba traditional way to apologize to all Surulere sons, daughters and inhabitants who said Desmond has not done well in the last term to forgive him by giving him another chance to make things right.

While groveling alongside with the Surulere CDC Chairman, Odumosu, Desmond took the microphone and apologized to the people.

In line with the apology, the people pronounced their blessings on Desmond Elliot for him to have big victory at the polls come Saturday, March 18.

Recall that Desmond Elliot and his junior colleague in the movie industry, Olumide Oworu of the Labour Party are contesting for the same office at the Lagos State House of Assembly under Surulere Constituency 1.

In accordance with reports, near the Surulere residence of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Desmond apologized at an event that took place at Mercy Eneli.
