Dj Cuppy’s mother, Nana Otedola, had asked the DJ and her sister, Temi Otedola, to lunch.

Nana briefed the sisters about the excellent quality of the restaurants where the reservation was made while being fussy about Cuppy’s dress code, during a conversation.

              “PLEASE COME PHOTO READY! @CUPPY, IT’S A BIT UPSCALE; SO SOME DRESS CODE MIGHT BE EXPECTED (NO SHADE INTENDED),” NANA WROTE.

Dj Cuppy took to Instagram to criticize her mother for covertly influencing her dress taste, writing,

      “I’M SORRY MUM; I’M CALLING YOU OUT.”
