Xmas eve Day, December 25, Boxing Day, December 26, and New Year’s Day, January 1, 2023, have all been designated as federal holidays by the federal govt.
On Friday in Abuja, Nigeria, Commissioner of the Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola made the announcement on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement released by Secretary – general Dr. Shuaib Belgore.
On the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays, Aregbesola sent his best wishes to Christians and all Nigerians at home and Abroad. Christians, he said, should model their lives after Christ’s teachings of faith, hope, and love.
