Nigerian super-talented artist Adekunle Gold introduced a new much-anticipated banger captioned, “High”. collaborating with, Davido music worldwide (DMW) boss, Davido.
The new tune “High” serves as a follow-up to his recently dropped song entitled, “Sinner”, which was released last month.
Also, Adekunle Gold is a Nigerian dancehall musician, composer, and graphic designer who has won several awards. Because of its deliberate intersections with modern pop, electronica, folk, and R&B, AG Baby refers to his music as “urban highlife.” His first solo track, “Sade,” a rendition of One Direction’s “Story of My Life,” was a hit in Lagos radio stations in 2014. Simi received an award for Best Alternative Song at Nigeria’s Headies the following year, after it was mixed by a famous Nigerian singer and songwriter. Before releasing Gold Album, he signed to Olamide’s YBNL label and had two Simi-produced hit singles, “Orente” and “Pick Up.”
Moreover, About 30, Gold’s sophomore album, was released to critical acclaim and had guest appearances by DYA on “Down with You,” Seun Kuti on “Mr. Foolish,” and Flavour N’bania on “Yoyo.” On the World Music Albums list, the album reached number nine. Gold didn’t spend any time. Throughout 2019, he traveled the country, then the globe, and released a series of pop hits, notably “Kelegbe Megbe,” “Before You Wake Up,” “Adiza,” and “Promise.”
