I’m Overwhelmed To Have Visited Imo State- Buhari

Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari has again said that he is grateful to have visited Imo state to recommend the current scheme by him.

Furthermore, he said that he received good treatment from the community and people of Imo State when he paid the state a tour on Tuesday, regardless of the threat by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Buhari was in the state to commence some scheme which he was invited on by Governor Hope Uzodinma, however, his words were obtained in a proclamation countersigned by his Special Adviser on Media and internets, Femi Adesina.

“I am overwhelmed to be in Imo State – the Eastern Heartland – to commence a number of plans accomplish by the government of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma.

“I am blissful to say that within just three years of the governing of Governor Uzodimma hope, I have visited Imo State to commence plans in the state, two officials said Buhari.

“At each event, I have received a very warmish welcome by the people of Imo state, ln which I am grateful for. Ndi Imo, Ndewo!

“Just as it is said in Igbo idiom, a good road deserves a second passage. It is a welcome fate that the name of your governor, “Uzodimma” is gained from this same idiom. great wonder, however, he has made the furnishing of good roads one of his highest priorities,” Buhari stated.

The President noted that his government sees the importance of criticizing support for economic growth and is set to drive the economic growth of Nigeria via the provision of fundamental support across the length and breadth of the country.

“This can be seen in our commitment to certain critical projects such as Deep Sea Ports, new airport terminals and buildings, various railway projects, a network of gas and power infrastructure, roads and bridges including the Second Niger Bridge, telecommunications infrastructure to mention but a few.

“I am therefore happy to see that the APC administration of Governor Uzodimma is doing a wonderful improvement here in Imo State.

“I commend the Governor for being able to do so with the limited resources at the disposal of the State Government. This proves that when leaders are dedicated and focused, much can be achieved for our people, “ he added.
