Omolade Oyetundun is a Nigerian singer, composer, and performer who is better known by her stage name, Lade. She rose to notoriety as the voice of the Airtel 444 theme song, which brought her a great deal of attention. Her incredible singing ability, which has been likened to Teni’s, has garnered a lot of praise.
Because of the success of her song “Adulthood Anthem,” which became very popular on the video-sharing website Tik Tok, Lade received a lot more attention online.
Her musical style is a mixture of R&B, highlife, and Afro-pop influences. She is a purveyor of tunes and a mood in the world. When it comes to his musical output, Lade is the whole deal. Within the realm of the music business, she is undeniably a formidable opponent.
On November 16th, Lade was born in the Mushin neighborhood of Lagos State, Nigeria. She was born and raised in the state of Kwara. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Ilorin (Unilorin).
Lade discovered her love for music when she was just six years old. She got her start in the music industry at a very young age, and in 2017, she emerged victorious in the third season of Unilorin Idol. She began posting a variety of freestyles as well as covers of well-known songs on the internet. She has performed cover versions of songs such as “Duduke” by Simi, “Playboy” by Fireboy DML, and “Khaid With You.”
Because their voices are so similar, everyone first believed that Teni was the one who sang the Airtel 444 song. However, to the astonishment of music fans, Lade was really the one who was responsible for the lovely tune.
She released her first track, titled “Smoov Groove,” in the year 2020, and the song is currently being used as the jingle for the Smoov Chapman brand.
She has provided television jingles for a number of well-known companies. She is the vocalist behind many different brands and companies, including Airtel 444, travel beta, maltina, lacasera, Lasor Seasoning, Airtel Know your size, Vestpay, Goldberg Omoluabi, Smoov Chapman, and many more.
In December 2021, she released the “Omolade” extended play project she had been working on. The extended play contains five songs, none of which involve any other musicians. Corny, Hustle, Sing, Situationship, and Speechless are a few of the tracks that can be found in the extended play.
In 2022, she released yet another track under the title “Adulthood Anthem,” which went on to smash several records. After just a few days of being available, the song had already racked up more than one million streams across all digital platforms. The success of the song is due, in part, to the fact that several artists have contributed verses to it, including Oladips, who has provided lyrical vibrations.
Lade receives money through her singing profession. She has composed jingles for various big brands in the country and profits from the tunes on adverts. No estimate of her net worth has been made.
Lade is active on social media. She is on Instagram @moladeofficial_ and Twitter @moladeofficial_
