After a video of them hanging out on social media was uploaded, Asake, a Nigerian Afrobeats phenomenon, and Alexis Skyy, an American reality TV personality, came to the notice of the public.

The performer of “Peace Be Unto You” attended the recent AFRIMA awards ceremony in Dakar, Senegal, alongside Fetty Wap’s ex-girlfriend.

Asake and Alexis are seen entering the venue together in a video that is becoming viral online, with music video director TG Omori standing next to them. As they seated, Asake positioned his right hand on top of Alexis’ seat as she sat next to him.

One of the rare Nigerian music performers to get an award at the AFRIMA in Senegal was the YBNL artist. He was named the category’s Breakout Artist of the Year winner.

The singer and the Real Housewives star entered the event in a way that many have assumed they are in a relationship, which was the night’s greatest highlight.

Alexis Skyy also verified that she was in Dakar through her Instagram Stories as she shared images of the location.
