Nasboi, the comedian, succumbs to pressure and reschedules his London concert on election day.

Fans have turned to social media to criticize both comic acts for failing to consider the election date while preparing their comedy events.

Nasboi, a Nigerian Instagram entertainer, has revealed the cancellation of his comedy performance ‘I am Nasboi’ in London, United Kingdom.

The move was made in response to controversy caused by him and comedian Basketmouth scheduling their gigs for February 25, the day of Nigeria’s presidential elections.

Fans took to social media to chastise both comedian acts for failing to consider the election date while arranging their comedy gigs.

Basketmouth has maintained his view that the event, which is slated to take place throughout February, would go ahead as planned.

However, Nasboi said that he did not want to schedule the event on election day and has so postponed it. He said that the event’s new date would be revealed later.

       HE WROTE; “HI! TWITTER FAM. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY HOSTING A SHOW ON FEB 25TH BEING OUR ELECTION DAY ISN’T DELIBERATE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS. MY EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE LATER THAN THE SCHEDULED DATE. NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED. NASBOI.”
