The beauty of marital union is enchanting and this is why the big names in the Nigerian entertainment forum have indulged in it.

However, some of these big names didn’t quite enjoy their union and experienced a vast union that made them regret marriage and their decision.

Some nightmares of these unions were spanked by the act of infidelity, domestic violence and unknown reasons which broke the beautiful bond between celebrities and their partners.

Mercy Aigbe

Nollywood acress, Mercy Aigbe who has made her mark in Nollywood and is known popularly for her Yoruba indigenous movies is recognised as one of the Nigerian celebrities that has experienced awful marital status.

Mercy Aigbe got married to her first husband who is identified as Lanre Gentry when her peak in the Nollywood forum was yet to be found.

They maintained a happy union and yielded two children. Their love bond remained strong as of 2001 and the other fewer years that followed it.

However, when the Nollywood actress gained fame, domestic violence spanked amongst them and kept growing vast to an extent that they couldn’t resist it.

The Nigerian Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh also has featured in one of the Nigerian celebrities who experienced marital nightmares.

Her saga spanked a few years back when she fell in love with the popular social media mogul, Churchill. Right after many approaches, their love grew vast and they tied the knot.

Their love bond remained rigid to an extent that they yielded a son who blessed their union.

It all swerved to the darker side after undisclosed domestic violence spanked between the two and they went separate ways.

However, several sources disclosed that their feud was caused by Churchill’s sexual ability and poor financial status.

Tiwa Savage

The Nigerian sensational singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage despite her incredible status has also experienced a nightmare in her recent union with TeeBillz.

The two big names in Nigeria tied the knot with each other via the power of their compassionate love and exhibited an enchanting union.

After what seemed to be an eternity of genuine love bond between the two stars, they experienced the awful view of their union.

Just quite everyone thought their union would trail positively forever, her husband publicly accused the ‘My Darling’ crooner of indulging in an infidelity act with Don Jazzy, Dr Sid and many other top names in the Nigerian music firm.

After the Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage had debunked his allegations and accused him of cheating on her instead the social media influencer attempted a heart wrecking suicide. He attempted jumping into the Lagoon beach in Lagos but was saved by bystanders.

The frustration that followed the union thrust them to break their bond.

Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, is also another big star in the Nigerian entertainment forum who has experienced complications in his marital union.

The actor who is happily married to his wife, Mayo Edochie astonished Nigerians after he flaunted his colleague in the Nollywood forum, Judy Austin as his second wife. He further stunned Nigerians and disclosed that his newly publicized wife also has gifted him a child.

This grieved Nigerians and they heavily attacked him dragging his status to the core.

His father Pete Edochie allegedly developed a feud with him, the same transpired with his first wife, May Edochie.

He is still being dragged via all the social media handles to date.

2Face and Annie Idibia

Innocent Ujah Idibia who is popularly known as 2Face and 2Baba is also known for his awful marital status since he tied the knot with his wife, Annie Idibia.

His marriage became complicated after Annie Idibia couldn’t get hold of his infidelity act.

The “African Queen” crooner disrespected his union with the Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia and Impregnated a lady identified as Pero Adeniyi a whopping number of 3 times which yielded him 3 beautiful children.

The lady became his Baby Mama and sparked domestic violence between Annie Idibia and 2Face.

After several years, Annie Idibia publicised the grudges and pain she has been enduring which pressured 2Face.

She accused 2 Face of condoning infidelity with his Baby Mama, Peru who debunked the claim alongside 2Face.

Nigerian highly decorated music executive and Record label owner, Ubi Franklin in no doubt is recognised highly as one of the top Nigerian celebrities that has never enjoyed a marital union.

The Nigerian social media influencer who is poorly known as Ubi Ekapong Ofem, is a Nigerian music artist manager, politician, entrepreneur, TV show host and the founder of record label Made Men Music Group and Instant Apartment.

His marital status started with his ex-wife, Lilian Esoro. They fell in love, dated and tied the knot in 2015. A year after the beautiful union the two yielded a child and went separate ways.

Several sources disclosed that the actress couldn’t keep hold of Ubi Franklin’s polygamous taste and strived for her peace of mind. Ubi Franklin also fought for his right and divorced her. The marital issue was resolved in 2021.
