According to a report by Vanguard, the trial of late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, has been postponed to Monday, June 20, and Tuesday, June 21.
As of press time, the court registry informed this correspondent that the FCT High Court Judge, Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, was unavailable and would not be sitting today.

Remember that the late gospel singer’s husband was charged with 23 counts of domestic violence and homicide by the federal government.
The defendant, whose wife reportedly died as a result of his lengthy attack, pled not guilty to all of the claims contained in the complaint brought against him by the Federal Government.
After her relatives said she was subjected to marital abuse at the hands of her husband, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s death provoked uproar.
Meanwhile, Osinachi’s body will be buried in her father’s compound on June 25, in Abia state.
