Nigerian celebrity Peter PSquare, whose real name is Peter Okoye (born November 19, 1981), is better known by his stage name.

In addition to being one-half of the successful combo P-Square, he is a well-known Nigerian singer, songwriter, and dancer.

He and his identical twin brother were born on November 19, 1981. He and his brother, Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, had a falling out and are now estranged.

He has taken the reins as director of his own music videos. His friends and family affectionately refer to him as “Mr. P.”

He is the current Ambassador for Tecno Mobile and the owner of the betting and raffle draw ticket company Zoom. His professional accomplishments have been recognized with several honors.

Peter Okoye and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, are said to have been birthed in Jos, which is located in the state of Plateau in Nigeria. It was at Jos that Peter Okoye finished his elementary school education and got his first leaving certificate with his twin brother.

After that, he relocated once again, this time to Saint Murumba Secondary School, a Roman Catholic institution that is also situated in Jos. Together with his brother, he completed his secondary education and received his diploma.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, from which he graduated.

Career

When Peter Okoye was a teenager, he began his profession by dancing and performing with his friends along with his brother. His brother was also involved in this endeavor.

He and his identical twin brother got together to establish the successful group known as P-Square, and their first manager, who went by the moniker Howie T., was the one who found them as a group. Mr. P released his album, which was named “Last Nite” and was released in the year 2003. Mr. P was a member of the group P-Square before their breakup.

After he and his brother Paul Okoye won the Grab Da Mic competition in 2001, they were able to use their prize money to support the recording of an album.

In addition to that, he releases songs such as “Cool It Down,” “For My Head,” and “Look into My Eyes.” Peter and Paul Engees, Peter’s brothers, both got their start in the music business with Square Records, where their older brother, Jude Engees, served as their manager.
