According to LIB, the bandits attacked him after breaking into his home in Kaffin Koro, Paikoro Local Government Area, of the state. He was killed by fire when they set the building on fire since they couldn’t get into his flat.
The late priest was honored for being the first native Catholic priest from Gbagyi/Koro territory and was a Kaffin Koro native.
Before his death, he had endured several assaults, including the 2011 Christmas Day bombing in Madalla, which was still in Niger State.
