Police apprehend and charge a lady with peddling gasoline as a souvenir.

Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl, the principal suspect who gave kegs of fuel as souvenirs during her party held at Havilah Events Centre, Victoria Island on March 4, 2022, has been arrested and arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command.

Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl was charged with four counts: endangering human life by distributing flammable stuff in a public gathering, intent to hurt another, and illegally carrying on the business of storing and containerizing petroleum products without a permit.

Ogbulu was arraigned before the Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court of the Ikeja Magisterial District, Holden in Oshodi, on Monday, March 14, 2022.

Remember that after the recent viral video of the distribution of gasoline as a memento, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, ordered the arrest of the culprit, who was at the time on the loose.

Meanwhile, the state’s police commissioner reaffirms the department’s commitment to preserving lives and property and advises residents against activities that risk human life.
