Singer Portable charged with assault in court after resisting arrest

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in the Ifo High Court on six counts of raging assault on Monday morning.

Recall that last Tuesday, Portable resisted arrest by some police officers at his office.

Unfortunately for the “Zazu Zeh” singer, he was arrested Last Friday.

Following his resistance to arrest and inflicting injury on a police officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force’s Public Relations Officer, stated on Saturday that Portable faces more than six charges.

Adejobi tweeted,

“He will be charged to court for beating up a guy in Ota, who filed a petition to CP Ogun.”
