In Sokoto State, two young men were murdered by gunmen after collecting N2m ransom.
According to reports, the victims Ibrahim Abubakar Rabah, a POS operator and graduate of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, was kidnapped together with two others, Mustapha Muhammad Rabah and Ummaru Ahmad, over a month ago in Rabah Local Government Area of the state.
The incident was confirmed by friends and family members on Facebook who said the kidnappers murdered Ibrahim and Mustapha, after payment of N2m ransom.
While confirming the incident on Saturday, April 8, one Usama Lawal Rabah, said that even though the bandits shot Ummaru, he survived and is now being treated at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto.
