
Mr Joe Anatune, the Head of the Soludo Media Office, has stated that the swearing-in ceremony for Anambra State Governor-elect Prof. Chukwuma Soludo will be low-key.
Anatune said in a statement issued in Awka on Wednesday that the ceremony, which would be held at the Government House in Agu-Awka, would have few guests in attendance and would be devoid of the wild celebrations that are usually associated with such occasions.

It went on to say that after being sworn in, Soludo would inspect a guard of honor and then deliver his inaugural address to the people of the state.
The statement also stated that an interdenominational service would be held briefly before the new governor begins work.
The governor-elect, on the other hand, expressed gratitude to all for the outpouring of goodwill messages as well as the ongoing support from well-wishers and numerous supporters both within and outside the country.

Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the state’s sixth democratically elected governor, will be sworn in on Thursday (today).
