200 has been declared as the cutoff mark for the University of Benin(UNIBEN) by the school board.

Therefore, students who wish to attend this institution must be eligible by scoring 200 and above in the post-UTME exams.

However, eligible Candidates who scored 200 and above are welcome to register for the UNIBEN Post UTME.

Before that, Candidates must make sure to have chosen UNIBEN as their first and preferred choice of institution as they do not accept second choices.

Candidates must have good and strong O’Level and Jamb results i.e. scoring at least 5 credits in the WASSCE or NECO, especially the core subjects.

Candidates must also be of age to be considered for admission i.e. 16 years and above.

As a candidate, if you successfully pass all these eligibility criteria then you are good to go to proceed to the next level.

How To Calculate UNIBEN Aggregate/Screening Score

Every aspirant candidate who participated in the University of Benin Post Utme / Screening must know how to calculate their aggregate score for confirmation. Follow the simple steps below to calculate your screening score

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8
  • Divide your post-UTME score by 2
  • After which you add both of them together.

For example; You score 250 in JAMB and 70 in post-UTME that means;

250/8 = 31.25
70/2 = 35
i.e 31.25 + 35 = 66.25
