UNN Departmental Cut Off Mark for All Courses 2023/2024

The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has announced 160 as their school’s cut-off mark for 2023/2024 admission and this implies that applicants/candidates who scored 160 and above are eligible to apply for the UNN Post UTME exercise.

The UNN school cut-off mark is 160 which gives you the eligibility to apply for the Post UTME exercise but your departmental cut-off mark determines your admission.

The departmental cut-off mark is determined by your jamb score and post-UTME  score, With that being said the unn might decide to use the 50:50 ratio to calculate the cut-off mark or the 60:40 ratio

Don’t be confused because we are going to break down these ratios for you

If your Jamb score is 300 and your post-UTME score is 350 it is calculated like so;

Jamb score takes the 60% ratio which is calculated by 0.6 while the post-UTME score takes the 40% ratio which is calculated by 0.4.

Then, Jamb – 300 x 0.6 = 180

Post UTME – 350 x 0.4 = 140

Your Aggregate score is  320.

The 50:50 ratio simply means that both your Jamb and Post UTME scores will carry the same mark Simply add both scores together and divide by 2 then you will get your aggregate score.
