On Monday morning, October 24 gunman attacked St. Louis high school, Killed two people, and injured seven.

Taniya Gholston, who is 16 years old, said to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she was in a room when the shooter came in.

“All I heard was two shots and he came in there with a gun,” Gholston said. “And I was trying to run and I couldn’t run. Me and him made eye contact but I made it out because his gun got jammed. But we saw blood on the floor.”

Another student, ninth-grader Nylah Jones, told the Post-Dispatch that the gunman entered the room from the corridor while she was in arithmetic class. She said that the gunman was unable to enter the room and knocked on the door while the kids packed into a corner.
