
In Lagos, inhabitants of Onireke, Opposite Ojo cantonment have entered the streets to agitate against reported disenfranchisement and attacks by reputed thugs in the state.
Recall that today is the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Nigeria. There has been a circulation of reports on social media of attacks by thugs on voters.
In the video going viral on social media, in the Onireke area of Ojo, scores of residents could be seen singing “we must vote” as they proceeded to the polling unit with sticks, bottles, and plants.
