Los Angeles Police Department officers dived into action when a heavily pregnant woman went into labor at a petrol station in the neighborhood of Los Angeles.
On early Wednesday morning, August 31, the two cops rushed to assist the woman when they sighted her already in the process of giving birth.
In consonance with the footage released, it displayed the moment the mother was screaming in pain beside the ice machine a few meters from the petrol station convenience store entrance.
“Are you having a baby,” Officer Juan Sierra asked the woman. “Yes, she is, oh my God.”
The officers quickly rushed to assist pull the baby out, while the mother’s heavy breathing can be heard in the video.
“Come on baby, breathe, breathe, breathe,” Officer Sierra said on the bodycam footage.
When the cops manage to pull the baby out, it takes a few minutes before the baby cries out.
“The baby is born,” one of the officers says as he hears the noise.
The woman and her baby were conveyed to a local hospital according to FOX.
“It happened so fast,” Los Angeles Police Department Officer Juan Sierra told ABC 7.
Sierra told the ABC.
“Knowing that I was able to contribute in bringing a life to this world — I mean that alone is incomparable,”
