Biography

Oniyide Azeez, who was born on November 21, 1999, is an artist who has been a pioneer in the Street Pop music industry in Nigeria. Zinoleesky is the stage name that is used professionally by the brilliant rapper, singer, and composer.

In 2017, he rose to prominence as a result of the widespread popularity of his freestyle rap videos on the internet. In 2019, he signed a record contract with Marlian Music and has since then released an extended play dubbed Chrome that has been quite successful commercially.

As a result of the success of his songs such as Gone Far, Kilofeshe, Ma Pariwo, Wo Wa Mi, and Rocking, he is considered to be one of the Afrobeats genre’s potential future guardians.

Early Life

On the 21st of November 1999, Zinoleesky was welcomed into the world by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Azeez, who practice Islam. The Mainland neighborhood of Lagos city is where he was born, but the Agege Local Government Area is where he spent most of his formative years.

Eight days after his birth, his parents decided to give him the name Oniyide Azeez. He was brought up in the Muslim religion and learned to read and recite the Quran at an early age due to his upbringing. When he was a teenager, he had finished reading all of the chapters of the holy book. He was quite knowledgeable about the subject.

Zinoleesky has always had a deep connection to music, dating all the way back to when he was only a small youngster. As he was growing up, he was exposed to a variety of musical styles, including Afrobeats, Highlife, Pop, Juju, and Fuji. Zinoleesky’s ambition to create music was fueled in part by his exposure to songs in the aforementioned genres.

When he was a youngster, he began rapping and writing songs that discussed the difficulties he encountered and the problems that existed in his community.

His elementary education was completed at Lively Kiddies Nursery and Primary School, where he attended both kindergarten and first grade. At the establishment, he graduated from primary school and received his First School Leaving Certificate.

When he was in high school, he received his education in a secondary school that was operated by the government. As a result, he did well on the examinations required for his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).

Career

Zinoleesky was quite involved in the music scene when he was still in high school. It was well known that he would captivate his other students with freestyle rap tunes. In addition to this, he often gave performances at school functions and participated in a variety of talent exhibitions in Lagos.

After completing his high school studies, he made the decision to pursue a career in music at a professional level. He started going to recording facilities in his area in order to have songs he had composed at home recorded. Within a short period of time, he became well-known in the Agege Music Community and was often asked to give performances on various occasions hosted within the city.

Zinoleesky started recording freestyle rap videos and posting them on social media so that he may further the development of his profession. The majority of the time, he would rap over the instrumentals of well-known songs or do cover versions of hot hits from the country’s music scene. As time went on, he was able to amass a following on social media thanks to the many individuals that cherished the sounds of Afrobeats and Streep Pop and admired his efforts.

The majority of Zinoleesky’s rap videos were going viral and generating massive engagement on the social media app Instagram as time went on, which led to him becoming a force to be reckoned with in the underground rap community. Personal Life

The twenty-first of November is the day that Zinoleesky, whose family is of the middle class, always remembers to celebrate his birthday. In 2021, his close friends and the head of his record label threw him a massive birthday party in Lagos.

His other artists on the label, Mohbad, C Blvck, Lyta, and Fabian Blu, are some of his closest friends. Rappers Lil Frosh and Ibradosky have been pals of his since childhood. The three musicians went to the same high school together and have been encouraging one another in their pursuit of a career in music.

Due to the fact that Zinoleesky has achieved success as an A-list musician, he is regarded as an inspiration within the Agege music community. And acts as a guide and teacher to other young artists trying to make it in Agege city and other parts of Mainland Lagos.

He is the proud owner of two rare and expensive automobiles and lives in a luxurious apartment complex in Lekki.

There are rumors circulating that Zinoleesky is romantically involved with Shubomi Fashola, who is Naira Marley’s sister. A video of the couple making out was uploaded on the internet a few weeks ago and has since gone viral.

Zinoleesky, a musician who is renowned for referring to himself as “Show Killer” and “Problem Child,” was detained by the NDLEA for carrying illicit narcotic substances together with Mohbad. Both men were charged with the same offense. The arrests were made in February of 2022, and the musicians were held in custody for a few days before being released.

Whereas the rumors were still in their infancy, the lovers in the pair were ecstatic and very pleased with how far they had progressed with their primary tool, music.

Lil Frosh and Zinoleesky, two outstanding musicians, have been asked to audition for a record label contract for one million Nigerian nairas. According to the information that we got, Lil Frosh accepted the agreement and quickly signed the documents. This was followed by Davido and Aloma proclaiming him as their newly signed artist on their respective Instagram sites.

It came as a surprise to learn that Zinoleesky had rejected the offer from the record label because he was dissatisfied with the arrangement he had struck with AMW and DMW. Information that reached us detailed this information. The majority of his supporters were dissatisfied with his choice, but they respected it anyway and came to the conclusion that there must have been a good reason for him to decline the offer.

Zinoleesky did not let the fact that he was experiencing mental distress slow him down. Instead, he continued to push himself, dismissing any unneeded energy, and he was succeeding.

Marlian Music Records Deal

Zinoleesky and his fans of music received some positive feedback some months after he had turned down papers submitted by AMW and DMW. Along with Cblvck, Mohbad, and Fabian Blu, he was one of the artists that Nigeria’s current rave of the moment, Naira Marley, signed to Marlian Records. On December 31, 2019, the news that Naira Marley had signed Zinoleesky to Marlian Records was leaked online. This was a joyous event for the Zinodicts following previous disappointments, thus it spread quickly throughout the internet.

The singer known for “Who Knows” went ahead and released his first official song, “Caro,” under the Marlian Records label in February 2020. Label president Naira Marley was featured on the track. After the release of the track, a great music video was released, which is still getting a lot of attention.
