A zoologist who tried to impress tourists by putting his finger in the mouth of a lion paid the ultimate price by leaving without the finger [VIDEO]

While on duty, a zoo guide was left in severe pain after attempting to showcase his playing abilities with a lion.

Tourists flocked to the St. Elizabeth zoo in Jamaica, and one of the zoo staffers who was showing them around decided to play with one of the lions in full front of the crowd.

Unfortunately, the attempts to entertain and wow the visitors failed miserably when the attendant’s finger became stuck in the ravenous lion’s mouth.

The Zoo attendant paid the ultimate price when his right ring finger was partially chewed off after putting his hand through the chain-linked lion’s cage.

The incident occurred at around 4:22 p.m. on Friday, May 20, according to reports, and the horrific image was recorded on camera.
