When does BBNaija Season 8 start, and how long does it last?

according to Six9ja News BBNaija Season 8 will premiere on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 with a first launch show followed by a second launch show on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023.

The season’s finale will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, after a 10-week run down.

How were the final housemates selected after the online auditions?

For eligibility and suitability, entries from the online auditions were evaluated.

After regular psych assessments, interviews, and medical exams, the successful entries were further scrutinized before the final selection was decided upon.

This year, voting is only available through the MyDStv, MyGOtv, and Africa Magic mobile apps for free.

Voting begins each Monday at 8 p.m. (9:30 p.m. CAT) following the nomination program and ends each Thursday at 9 p.m. (10pm CAT).

On the mobile website, the Africa Magic website, and the MyDStv and MyGotv apps, you can vote as many times as there are calls to vote.

If you have a qualifying package and are a DStv/GOtv subscriber, you can vote depending on your package using the MyDStv/MyGOtv App.

The number of housemates and their identities is never revealed prior to the beginning of the show.

Audiences can, however, know that the housemates were selected after a rigorous screening process to bring to life Africa’s biggest reality TV show.

You do not need any special qualifications to audition for Big Brother Naija.

What are the rules of Big Brother Naija?

A rule-book is distributed to contestants before the commencement of the show.

General rules will include – no contact with the world outside the Big Brother house, strictly no violence and an obligation to nominate fellow housemates for eviction.

What can housemates bring into the house?

Housemates are given a rulebook with a detailed list of things they are allowed to bring into the home.

But you cannot bring any electrical devices inside the residence.

Big Brother will check what the housemates are bringing in and reserves the right to remove any items that are prohibited by the rules.

Two luggage should be brought by roommates. It is prohibited to wear garments with obvious logos or trademarks.

If a housemate has an urgent family problem, Big Brother may nevertheless enable them to communicate verbally or in writing with someone outside the house.

For the length of their visit, they live in the Big Brother house.

Housemates are therefore expected to act in a manner that is consistent with how they would act in their own surroundings.
