The Reasons Behind The Detain Of Singer D’banj
The ICPC sought to arrest the artist anywhere in Nigeria and overseas after he repeatedly declined invitations to appear for questioning; as a result, he was forced to appear at the commission’s headquarters on Tuesday.
D’banj was held following a protracted questioning that began when he arrived. Officers denied his request for administrative bail because they believed the singer could not be entrusted to appear at his hearing if granted on bond.
According to our informants, the ICPC may request the court for a prolonged detention order on Wednesday so that it may finish its investigations before bringing the singer to justice.
Azuka Ogugua, the ICPC spokesman, was unable to be contacted for clarification regarding this story. She reportedly travels overseas for a project. The singer could not be approached for a remark since they were both in custody.Join our Telegram Channel for Updates!!!
