When the Mayegun of Lagos, as he is affectionately known, celebrates his 50 years on stage, the whole city of Lagos will come to a complete stop.

The event has been supported and promoted by Nollywood celebrities as well as by the iconic singer’s admirers and lovers.

There is no question that this event will be talked about for months since it features Nollywood stars like Kolawole Ajeyemi, Ayo Olaiya, Esther Kale, and many more.

One of Nigeria’s “silent billionaires,” Sir Olu Okeowo, has expressed support for him.

The singer’s theatrical performance got the billionaire’s support.

Olu Okeowo was seen pledging to attend the singer’s performance while praying for him in a video posted by Goldmyne TV.

According to a recent update, the event was conducted on Friday, August 19, at the upscale Oriental Hotel in Lagos by KWAM1.

The Yoruba film industry remained silent in support of the singer as they turned out in great numbers to do so.

Many celebrities supported him, including Kunle Afod, Yinka Quadri, Jamiu Azeez, Jide Awobona, Toyosi Adesanya, Foluke Daramola, Mercy Aigbe, Adunni Ade, Seyi Edun, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Faithia Williams, Iyabo Ojo, Ijebu, Muyiwa Ademola, Fausat Bal

Different kings and billionaires were also present.

Silent millionaire Sir Olu Okeowo and his stunning wife Shade Okoya, together with Eleganza CEO Razaq Okoya, were seen attending the occasion.

According to Six9ja, a KWAM1 or K1 De Ultimate internet video received mixed reviews.

Olamide, a well-known Nigerian rapper, and K1 were seen performing the latter’s song in the video posted online by KWAM1’s official Instagram page.

A version of the classic song “Anifowose” by KWAM1 was performed by the pair in the video.

Olamide, popularly known as Badoo, was there, according to K1 De Ultimate, who shared the footage on Instagram.
