Candidates must meet the following conditions:

For UTME Candidates: Must have chosen OAU, Ile-Ife as the First Choice Institution in 2023/2024 UTME and scored 200 and above.
Possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language, at no more than two (2) sittings.

Non-participation in post-UTME screening leads to disqualification.

For DE Candidates: No extra screening other than verification of uploaded credentials. Make sure that transcripts are forwarded to OAU’s Admission Office for DE Admission processing.
OAU PRE-DEGREE & JUPEB Candidates: Must register for the 2023/2024 POST UTME.

OAU Admission Screening General Requirements

The minimum entry requirement consists of:

• A General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with Credit passes in at least five subjects.
• One pass must be at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
• Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, one credit pass must be in Mathematics at ‘O’ Level.
• A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in the English Language at ‘O’ Level.

• Fill in the biodata form and click continue.
• Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) from this site and use it for payment online or at any commercial bank.
• Re-login once payment is accepted.
• The Management of OAU explicitly invites suitable UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session’s admission screening exercise.

Note, that the university does not employ ANY THIRD-PARTY or MIDDLE PERSON for registration; the entire process can be accomplished online.
