Ghana musicians won’t stop alluring our ears with their various massive hits. In a couple of weeks, we will be through with 2022, and with the different hits from West Africa this year, it has really been an exciting year to be in the music industry. The year has also seen some international collaborations and a number of massive collaborations among Ghanaian artists.

The first half of the year was dominated by steady streams of Afropop big wins, international features, and high-level collaborations that took Ghanaian music to the world at large. Especially with the massive contributions from the darling boy of Ghana, Black Sherif.

Ghanaian music has never been more popular, and the chances of an emerging artist making significant waves in our country’s music industry is actually pretty good at the moment. Remember when we used to have to wait months between hits? Things have changed in Ghana, and I’m loving it!

With so much of the year still left, we can only imagine what kind of songs will make their way into our playlists in the coming months. We’re already seeing a number of artists already gunning for the top spot on our playlists, and we’ve had some pretty dope music come out so far in 2022.

Our compilations of some of the biggest songs to hit our airwaves so far this year, and some of the biggest singles are not all-encompassing, but they’ll give you an idea as to what kind of music has been hitting our playlists while we wait for even more hits.

But before we proceed, we will like to share the selection criteria for the songs we selected.

We felt it was important to feature some of the collaborations that have been so far, some of the biggest collaborations in Ghana and even outside Ghana. Collaboration has been an important tool for artists since time immemorial, and to us, nothing has changed in that regard over the years.
