Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has identified himself as the most competent candidate for the job and has stated that if elected, he will not accept failure as an excuse.
Tinubu stated this during his presidential meetings with Ondo state’s traditional rulers.
He visited with traditional rulers from the state’s three senatorial districts.
“It is true that I intend to run for president in 2023,” he says. For the sake of our people, I want to win the election.
He promised that he would not provide any excuses for failure but instead would provide purposeful leadership that would improve the country.
“I’ll drop it after I’ve ruled for eight years in a row.” After I end my tenure, the smartest person and the one with the most following will take over.
“I’m quite concerned about Nigeria’s progress.” For the past two years, I’ve been campaigning for Mimiko to get his mandate. I stood alongside Fayemi for three days while attempting to steal his mandate. It took three years and ten months for Aregbesola.
” I don’t back down from a fight. Democracy is incredibly important to me, and I’m quite enthusiastic about it. We attempted during MKO but were unable to obtain it. When they came to meet with us, we asked for your help, and Buhari was elected President.
“I informed Buhari so that no one would question who I consulted before making my choice.”
” I am the most qualified candidate for president. I will guarantee that our youngsters are employed, that industries are established, and that the country as a whole is developed.
“Inform everyone that I am entering a competition.” Nigeria would be more developed than Lagos as a result of my efforts.
“It’s a pity that Nigeria can’t create regular brake pads.” I’m going to turn Nigeria around for the better.
“All I ask is for your prayers and support in my campaign for president.” It is your son who wishes to compete, and I am that son.
Tinubu, speaking in Okitipupa, stated that religious and ethnic divisions were part of the country’s issue, but that there was no divide in Lagos State, which is why the state was thriving.
“When I became governor, Lagos State was the poorest state in Africa; we had little revenue then, but we tried our best; now, look at Lagos; it earns over N40 billion in revenue.”

“Dividends are an issue in Nigeria as well, but there are none in Lagos since any tribe or religion is welcome to run for and win elections, which is why the city thrives.”
“Nigeria has the ability to compete with Russia in oil and gas exploration if we correctly harness our resources and have stable power. Nigeria will also compete with other nations in manufacturing if we harness our resources effectively and have stable electricity.”
“I’ve come to seek the permission of our royal fathers for my presidential aspiration because I know where the problems are, and if given the chance in 2023, Nigeria would be listed among the world’s top nations.”
He claims that if Nigeria’s natural resources are effectively utilized, it would be able to compete well with Russia in oil and gas development.
Tinubu stated that the country is endowed with numerous natural resources that must be developed in order for the country to be listed among the world’s top economies.
He stated that if Nigeria can create reliable power, it will be able to compete effectively in manufacturing with other industrialized countries.
The Deji of Akure land, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, spoke on behalf of the monarchs in the central Senatorial districts, wishing him well and wishing him prosperity.
On behalf of other traditional rulers in the Southern Senatorial district, Oba Fredrick Obateru-Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugboland, said Tinubu possesses the charisma and ability to transform the country into a better place, adding that all traditional rulers in Ondo South have blessed and endorsed him for the top job.
