Results show different cut-off marks for the Lagos State University (LASU) but it is safe to consider 190 as the Lagos State University just to be on the safer side.

The Lagos State University is calling on all interested aspirants/candidates who scored 190 and above to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise.
Eligibility
- For one to be eligible you must score 180 and above to be considered.
- Candidate must have a good O’Level result i.e. at least 5 credits most especially in your core subjects.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years and above
- Candidates must have chosen LASU as their first choice in the JAMB/UTME registration
Change of Institution is an alternative for interested candidates who didn’t pass the last eligibility criteria.
LASU Departmental cutoff mark
Cutting the Jamb cut-off mark for the LASU isn’t the only important issue to tackle.
Actually, you have to cut the Departmental’s cutoff mark in order to have a 95% guaranteed admission.
In essence, you have to pass the general cutoff mark to be on the safer side.
what is this general cut-off mark?
It is the combination of the jamb and the department’s cutoff mark. Let’s say for example you scored 200 in your Jamb exam Initially you passed the Jamb cutoff mark of 180 and you intend to study medicine, If the school’s departmental cut-off mark for medicine is 280 best believe you won’t be considered for admission.
What is the best solution for this situation?
You are advised to change the course to a course in which the cutoff mark is 200 and below to be on the safer side and if you don’t find any course you like you will have to wait for next year.
